How long does it take for buds to open?
 

I got a Phal on Sunday that was just about to bloom, it had one big bud and some other smaller ones still growing.

I think I've seen a little progress on it, but I'm wondering, how long must I wait? This suspense is killing me, not least of all because I'm hoping the move and having its roots inspected didn't scare it into bud blast.

Is the bud showing color? It can take a few days even after the color is visible. patience, grasshopper.

A couple of days, shouldn't be longer than that

Of course, it waits for me to say something! I posted this question, and then got up, and went to look at it like an hour later and it had started!
