Killing mites on cedar slatted orchid baskets?
 

I have mites on several orchids. I'm sanitizing my growing area (indoors under lights) and treating the plants with a miticide, but I wonder if anyone has advice for exterminating mites in or on the cedar baskets the orchids sit on. I use the baskets to raise some plants closer to the light source, not to plant in, and don't want to put them back in a clean growing area without being sure they're mite free. Thanks, all!

fyi, don't think they are spider mites. need a 10x to see them.....

dunking in boiling water ?
then another dunk in a bleach solution ?
that should get everything........
