Clowesia dodsoniana

Although closely related to Catasetum, flowers of the genus Clowesia are fully developed with working male and female parts. This makes Clowesia useful for breeding, when female Catasetum flowers are difficult to obtain under our northern conditions. Many Clowesetum hybrids are showy.
Clowesia dodsoniana is a strong grower with a long rest period in winter. When grown under bright light and with high fertilizer doses, plants become stronger than mine and the fragrant flowers are produced exuberantly.

Nice! How does the scent compare to Clo. Rebecca Tyson Northen?

Fabulous!

Awesome plant. The species of this genus are, in my opinion, underappreciated as they have much to offer.

Thanks for looking.
For isurus79: The scent of Clowesia Rebecca Northen is sweeter and more fresh. The scent of Clowesia dodsoniana is not unpleasant, but more typical for a chemical agent than for a flower.
I made a cross and keep my fingers crossed that it results in a fertile capsule.
