Amaryllis Show Master bulblet growing and growing!

Both my Show Master developed a bulblet.
I gave one away to a friend to make some room for cattleyas on the windowsill.

The bulblet on this one bulb I kept, had two small leaves last year. This year it grew more leaves that are larger each time.
It is working on its fifth leaf of the year and total of seven leaves.
You can only see six leaves in the picture because of the angle I took.

with this speed, I think this bulblet might bloom next year.

What is interesting is that the mother bulb is also working on her seventh leaf at the same time. :)

Amaryllis Ambiance is also making bulblets, two of them.
They are very small though. Earlier in the summer I saw this tiny and skinny leaf emerging about one inch away from the mother bulb. It is now longer than 8 inch.
A second leaf (I believe is a different bulblet) grew out a little further away from the first leaf and that one is now about 5 inch tall.

My other Amaryllis, Benfica, a very dark red one, is still "single" which is fine with me.
I don't have space to host lots of amaryllis anyways, but it is so interesting to see bulblets growing when not expected.

The bulblet on mine has grown fast this year, but I don't think as much as yours. Great gowing.

This bulb is a robust one.
I got it with two stalks in the late fall of 2011.
After the flowers finished, I totally forgot about it to a point that the bulb shrank to more than half!
I was ready to toss it but then I found a third stalk emerging.
The bulb got so small and dry that I wasn't sure what to do but toss it.

I brought it to my new place and repotted it.
It grew and grew, and by the end of last year, the bulb fattened up so good that I couldn't believe what I saw. It also had at least 12 leaves if I remember correctly.
It flowered again wonderfully earlier in the spring this year.
