I bought it last month with a tiny little spike, and she is almost in full bloom! And another spike is just popping out!

But 2 buds blasted. Any idea as to why?

Any change in conditions, too much heat, cold, too dry etc may cause budblast.

My Ascofinetia "Lionstar" is blooming happily on the back porch with three new plantlets and a beautiful flowering spike. I've had it three years or so, and it is a reliable sturdy bloomer.Attachment 85071
