Lecent, to answer your question, I grown in a small greenhouse. We built it after I purchased a Pleurothallid collection from a local Orchidist of 20+ years who was closing shop to move. It was a blessing and a curse!

The greenhouse has a misting and ventilation system. The misters are on for a minute several times daily for humidity. I plan to automate this process soon with a timer. I fertilize weekly with a very weak triple 16 plain fertilizer. 3 or 4 days later I mist the plants with a kelp fertilizer cut in half.

I live in the Pacific NW so the temps are pretty mild and the humidity is low.
Presently we have a heatwave going. We pulled a large tarp over the greenhouse to block the sun, as the temperatures kept climbing close to 100. That provided huge relief of about 15 degrees within minutes. We are expecting high temps through mid next week. I intend on misting and watering a lot to help relieve stress on the plants.
If we make it through until next Spring, I'll consider it a great accomplishment and miracle.

My plan is to sell some of the plants that I have to make room on the benches for the ones I want to collect. I'm swimming in a some species. We'll see how it goes.
