They do spike like that as far as I've seen and I think you nailed the ID, Sonya. :)

Nice pickup, nlm, that's a great species!

Thanks, the flower is from last year, this year more spikes were out.

Cool! I had one once, tho I never got it to bloom :p. I had at first replied that I thought it was moschatum, but then realized I didn't know how they spiked, so edited my reply ;)

Its from the branches and at the tip, I think she likes to be loose, I tied the branches because they were hanging down to the floor, but now I have an idea to lift the pot from the floor

I'm having problems with my Den.It's loosing all the leaves, but is having new babies all over I was wonder if it will be ok to cut those long leaves less dens. and plant them.

gnathaniel 09-15-2013 09:45 PM

Losing leaves is normal for these this time of year, nothing to worry about in itself. Leafless growths are still alive and it's not usually good to cut them, they'll continue to bloom and also put out and support new growth. By 'new babies' do you mean it has new growth at the base or is it growing keikis from upper nodes on the canes?

Yes they are from the base and from the canes. Leaves are yellow and dried. Hope it will be ok. Do u think I should withhold water?
