Thanks Pheli! I have a cross of this one and it isn't thriving. So I need to figure out why and make some changes. I had heard that these Cyms don't need as much light as standard cyms, but otherwise it is the same. I just wish I know what I need to change to make it happy.

Carrie, there are too many clones of this species. Luckily, most of them are easy plants to bloom and to grow.
If your plant is pure Cym. ensifolium, it does not need so much light as that for standard cyms. But as i know, there are many new crosses of this species with large flowered cymbidiums. Such crosses usually need strong sunlight to bloom and to grow.
