Ascocentrum miniatum
 

I displayed this plant at the Aiea Orchid Show held on June 7-9, 2013 at the Aiea Elementary School Cafeteria. The plant received a Certificate of Cultural Merit from the Honolulu Orchid Society Judges and won the best Vanda in the Show trophy. I got this plant as a seedling in a 2-inch pot many years ago from the late M. Miyamoto of M. Miyamoto Orchids in Waianae. The plant has 34 inflorescences. The photo was taken when I brought the plant home from the Show. There are some flower damages from transorting the plant to and from the Show but as a whole the majority of the flowers are in prime condition.
