Stranger at my door asking about my orchids....
 

Disclaimer - it wasn't a COMPLETE stranger, I'm safe.

I was waiting for the man to come pick up a radon test that has been at our house for 2 days. I was in bed when he dropped it off on Sunday, so I never saw him. When a man showed up at my door, I assumed it was him...but the man didn't introduce himself, just pointed at my orchids on the porch and said "Is that how you're supposed to grow orchids?" and started asking about an orchid he got his wife for Easter. So I explained the basics...not dead, less water, trim the spike, etc, etc. Then he started to open the door and walk in. So I quickly asked if he was here to pick up the test. "Yes, the radon test! I don't think anyone could see those were orchids from the road." so we had a good laugh. *I* would be able to tell they were orchids from the road ;)

Hehe ... I once had a neighbor (walks their dog by my house) comment on my "beautiful orchids" that I grow on the porch.

I do often wonder what on earth people might think if they were to see me leaning over their fence or sneaking up the edge of their driveway smelling things and taking pictures. I'm not a stalker, honest!
