Fantastic pictures Ron!

Thanks, Rosie. Appreciate the time people take to look at them.

Excellent. Thanks for the scietific names and explanations given. Many genera like Corallorhiza and Coral fungus can be found in Central Europe as well with different species and a little later in the year.
|
Thanks for your comments. As I remember your area has one Coralroot, the Early Coralroot, C. trifida, which grows here also and the Coral fungi are ubiquitous.

Once again, amazing photos, Ron. I sent a link to your photo stream to my wife - makes us recall some vacation hikes we took in your area. (Back when people used that "film" stuff.) The salmonberry in particular took me back 20 years in an instant, like that scene in "Ratatouille".
Are those 100 mm shots hand-held? For field photos you are getting great depth of field. Also see you used a 200 mm lens for one of the scenic views; do you mind me asking which one? I've been looking at the 200 mm f/2.8L II USM. Any advice would be appreciated. Steve |
