Oncidium ID?, for now I just call it the "Death Orchid" :)
2 Attachment(s)
Hello, I recently purchased this Oncidium at a flower shop, when I got it home I noticed the "hauntingly" beautiful patterns on the blooms, hence the "Death Orchid" moniker. :) Any help with a more detailed info would be very much appreciated. I'm a newbie, so am curious, will the same patterns appear again if I can get it to rebloom?

It looks like an intergeneric hybrid of oncidium and brassia.(brassidium) Beyond that without a tag it's impossible.
It should bloom similarly next time. The pattern may vary a little but not significantly. |
:agree: Brassia hybrid. It's lovely! Moderately bright light, let media become almost, but not completely dry in-between waterings.

Have a look at Brassidium Shelob on the Internet.
MIGHT be it, |
This is not Shelob.

After several hours of hunting and members' suggestions, I finally found it! :) Thanks!
