Very nice blooms.

I have a similar Den. It is Den. Stardust which is half unicum. It is in a pot and looks a lot like yours. OrchidWiz just says to give less food and water over winter and near the end of winter to let them dry completely but not for long. I hope mine make a recovery or something as there are not too many leaves at the moment!

I actually have 2 Stardusts, one small one is yellow and another is orange and looks a lot like your unicum. If you are wanting one, I got the orange one from Ching Hua when they came to an orchid show.

It could be one cultivar of Queen Beer. just a thought.
I saw this exact plant with a name tag and I forgot what it was.

Regarding the unicum in a pot:

First, I grow mine mounted. The reason for; I can monitor the root tips during the winter when I may mist it two or three times from Nov to March. This may sound harsh, but if the root tips still show any green I do not worry about how dry the canes are. I grow it in a terrarium at high humidity, so I would imagine that also helps. When new growth starts in March I begin to water it again. I wait for the plant to dry out for many days afterward and then start watering infrequently. I do not blast it with water and fertilizer so I do not know if it would flower any better. During the winter when it receives any moisture, it is from distilled water and has no fertilizers added to it.

So to help your potted situation. I would grow it as you usually do during the growing season. As the plant goes dormant, you could remove it from the potting medium and place it back it the pot, perhaps with a few pieces of larger medium. This way you can monitor the root growth and the overall health of the plant, regardless of what the canes look like.

After taking a second look at your plant, my first impression is that it could have gone much drier and that may have increased your number of blooms.
