Difference in Sedirea

Ok so I've recently been absorbed and completely obsessed with sedirea. However, I have a question between the names if I do a search for for minmaru and Seigyokumaru, I get pics that look very much the same. I have a minmaru and it has leaves the size of a quarter but I'm looking for the super tiny variety and unsure what name it actually goes by. Can some clear up the different names and maybe even provide examples of both?

Btw this is my minmaru...but if you look up Seigyokumaru, you find one that looks nearly identical on orchids limit. Are the two different names referring to the same plant?

I have a daruma type which is also supposed to be a miniature. But the latest/newer leaves are much larger than the previous ones. I will try and post a photo tomorrow.
Perhaps someone can weigh in on what I read about miniature sedirea and that is they eventually grow out ? Can that be right ?

No one else?

I haven't ordered any other sedirea and likely won't until I know what is going on with these names!

Btw I have just returned home from a long trip and all of my automation worked great!!!!! Except my Neos and sedirea...those had no automation and did dry out pretty good but they seem just fine.

Hausermann's has the Daruma type. I don't know what the differences are. I have one from Oak Hill and I don't know if it differs from the Daruma. Sorry I can't help

The guy that can answer your question is Dr. Lehr who owns New World Orchids; he has tons of different Sedirea and his price list gives a (very) scant description - BUT, email him with your question - he has answered all my emails and is a great guy to correspond with.
The link to his website is:
New World Orchids
I don't know if you have been to his website or now, but he will be able to help I am sure.
Hope this gives you lead for all your Sedirea questions!
Steve

Glad everything is okay after your trip! Hope you had a good time in PA! My neo and sedirea do dry out between watering once in a while. Hasn't caused and visible harm.

looks like fusamaru. Seed Engei had some of these, you might want to check with them.

Good luck figuring it out! I find it difficult to see all the differences in the sedirea and falcata. :0
