Growing Orchids in South Florida

I live in the Pembroke Pines area of South Florida and am new to orchid growing. Right now I have some under a tree but would love to build a structure of some type on side of house that faces South. Would love to see some pics to get ideas. Is South side OK? I can't build it myself so I would have to find someone that does that. Any input would help! Thx!

My grow area is on the south side of my house in Ft. Lauderdale. It's good for protecting the orchids from cold fronts that blow in from the northwest. There is a gentleman in Ft. Lauderdale who builds shade houses for people. He gave a presentation at the Ft. Lauderdale Orchid Society meeting a couple of years ago. I don't remember who he is but you may be able to do a little research and find out. Maybe call Tom at Broward Orchid Supply in Hollywood and see if he knows. Good luck.

Thank you so much for the quick reply. I will definitely try to find this gentleman. Do you have pics of your orchid growing area?
