Well its ben a couple of weeks and I have filled the viv. up with several orchids from my greenhouse, so far plants have taken to the new digs, Leptotes was the first to send out flowers and they developed faster in viv. then in greenhouse. an Angreacum is also sending out spike as well as a couple of other plants with new roots or growth of some sort.

Very excited about the future of the new endeavor, so much so I splurged and got a flask of Dendrophylax and a Lepanthes telipoganfolia, they all seem to be doing fine as of this writing.

Looks good! I can't see your watering system though. Are you hand watering?

Beautiful plants! Is that an exo terra? Always wanted to use on but never thought they made them large enough. they seem well designed for orchid growing otherwise.

Yes I hand water, that way I can monitor the Viv.

I do have a home humidity vaporizer hooked up that fogs the entire box in about 2 minutes. I run fogger every morning before lights go on or blinds are open to let in natural south exposure light.

Yes it is an Exo terra, this one is 24" tall x 24" wide x 18" deep, they make one that is 36" long x 36" tall x 18" wide and if this one works good then I might save up for the larger one.

I think that it is well designed and well made.

So far it holds water.
