NYBG Orchid Show 2013

Well I just went last week and had so much fun! Unlike some of the past shows this one didn't really have a theme so it was more like what a permanent collection would look like! So it was great!

ETA: my husband says the pbase page (the link is in the blog post here) is overwhelming. I told him orchid people wouldn't think so! Am I wrong? Is it too much to go through 300 photos of orchids and other plants? I can see non-orchid people thinking it's boring, but I think it's great! ha ha!

It'll let you do it as a guest, just don't do what others have done and post any e-mails! I had to go through and make all those posts private so no one would see my families e-mails! :lol:

My husband clarified, it's only overwhelming due to the number of photos not the nature of the subject. But others have said they love it as long as you have time to go through them. Man, if I could have gone on like Monday, when no one else is around because it's closed, and I could take as long as I wanted and had spots to sit and rest, I probably would have triple the number of photos! Easily! Man it was so much fun! Even editing them got me excited like I was still there!!!!

People at work say they could smell the flowers just looking at the photos! :biggrin:

My husband forced me to send the NYBG the link too. He thinks they should see them he liked them so much! He's such a sweetie!
