Hello From Edmonton, Alberta, Canada!
 

Just starting out. I am very young and eager to learn all that I can. A little about myself.... I am the Assistant to the Head grower at Salisbury Greenhouse in Sherwood Park, Alberta. In my backyard I do have my own 107 Sqft Greenhouse made out of recycled material that is 13 feet tall at it's highest point (Pictures soon to come). I do plan to have it heated during the winter months to rapidly expand my Orchid collection. ALL tips of orchid growing in Zone 3b will be exceptionally helpful. Thanks and looking forward in hearing from some of you! :D

Ezil- I am not yet a member of the Orchid Society of Edmonton. I would love to join sometime soon here (I was asked at last weekends Orchid Show as well) But I work on Sundays... The meeting days. I have spoken with Terry Letendre and he will be giving me a tour of his greenhouse here in Edmonton as wel as advice on growing in our terrible climate. I do hope to make a few more contacts though coming in the next few months.

I don't grow all that many orchids, but the ones I do have are cool growing Masdevallias and Draculas. I'm hoping to start growing some of the rupicolous Laelia. Most of my plants are carnivorous plants, mainly Nepenthes.
