Can metal halide 400w 6000k burn Angreacums

Hi, I recently installed a 400 w 6000 k metal halide globe in my orchid house. I mainly have Angreacums ( with never bloom, thus the extra light). The closest plant is 1.5 meters from the light source. Can the metal halide "burn" the plants due to over exposure? Thnx
