Hello from El Portillo, Jinotega, Nicaragua
 

I am Joseph Bowersmith and live in the mountains of northern Nicaragua. The area is known for its coffee production but there are still some areas of forest here with orchids. So far I have taken photos of more then 120 different orchids here.
I am retired so have time to look now and then.

Hello Joseph. I've been in Managua and Ometepe some years back. It's a nice country with lovely people. The end of the dry season, when trees are flowering, was especially beautiful. And I really enjoy your photos of botanical orchids in their native habitat.
