Can anyone tell what alliance Eria belong to on OB? If I post on wrong place, please help to move this to right one.
This species comes from Vietman or China. This might be the last survival one as I bought it at nursery. I remembered others were not acclimatized and rather close to be dead. Cultivation of it is a little difficult because it inhabits a moist and shady place nearby stream. I was been patient with growing, and eventually it began blooming two years ago. All is worthy once I see its pretty white blooms. :blushing:

Eria is under the tribe Podochileae. The subtribe is Eriinae. Alliance is Eria.

Beautiful plant! My recently-acquired one just started blooming, the fragrance is very nice. Could you give me some details on how you're culturing yours (summer/winter temperatures, potting medium, etc.)? Thank you! :)

Hi, Nat
I remember mine was still weak two years later after taking it home. My growing was getting better since altering medium to be sphagnum moss and noticing not dry out before next watering. I believe the point is environment this species inhabit in wild. Somewhere rocky and mossy in moist forest seems its favorite. However, what is worked for mine doesn’t necessarily work for yours. Hopefully what I described here is helpful for you. :)
