Cirrhaea seidelii
3 Attachment(s)
A very floriferous plant, and very very rare too. Difficult in cultivation, especially the roots. Leaves are much smaller and narrower than those of other Cirrhaeas, and so are the bulbs. Thaks to Fredemetr, who stated in his thread, that Cirrhaeas love high humidity in the air, but not around the roots. Intermediate to warm.

Sounds like a very strange, difficult set of requirements. Congratulations on your excellent results!

Amazing color and very cool shape!! This is another one that should be more widely grown.
|
Neat one. Well done.

It's beautiful! It's so satisfying when a plant has special requirements and you have succeeded!
|
Phenomenal color and shape! What an odd requirement - high humidity, but dry roots? How do you achieve this?

I'm guessing he means they need to dry out fast in the root zone? So really well draining, fast drying medium?

I love it. Very pretty

This one is amazing!

I think I found the post he reffered to. Doesn't add a lot!
