Aerangis modesta keiki

I recently bought an Aerangis modesta. I like white flowers and I would like to collect more African orchids. I've got an Aerangis 'elro' from before, but I've got very little experience with Aerangis.

When I bought the modesta it had a spike that was just done flowering. On the tip it had a couple of tiny leaves, but I didn't think much about it, I just assumed that the tips looked like that.

But now I think it's making roots!

Does the Aerangis modesta make keikis like this?

And is there anything in particular that I should do to keep the little guy happy? So far I've just tucked it into the coir basket where the mother plant is growing.

I don't have experience with Aerangis keikis ... I would think that like with other orchid keikis just wait until it has sufficient roots before removing it. Spritz roots with eater if necessary. Tucking it into the media with the parent sounds reasonable.

Hopefully others can help more than I. Good luck!
