Benzyl adenine

Does anyone have experience with benzyl adenine as a compound to activate dormant eyes in Cattleyas and create a plant with multiple active leads? If so, how do you use this compound?

I have been wondering the same sort of thing wrt cattleya etc., not to create multiple leads but to encourage a bare root (no root) plant to start growing.

I heard another way of activating dormant buds and reducing apical dominance:
hang a plant upside down for a few weeks.

Neat solution, I'm going to try this on a rescue dendrobium that is not progressing for the last 8 months or so.

benzyladenine/benzylaminopurine can be used for that purpose when used as a foliar spray at a concentration between 600ppm- and 1000ppm when applied a single time
