The Aerial Roots are withering and leaves Wrinkle
 

Hi everyone,

My Ascocenda is growing but slow, only one tiny baby root from one of the healter aerial root appear after putting effort for past one month. Could it be still not engouh watering or fertilize? I only gives fertilize of leaves once weekly.
Anyone can advice me whats the best humidity for ascocenda? Cos may be I try to start monitor it and decided the frequent to water it. Or best is get it trim and re-pot?

I found there are dry and cracking aerial roots at the edge of frame, shall I cut them off? But will this harm my plant further cos it has few roots functioning...I think.

With most plants, it is the roots which supply the moisture to the leaves. if your roots are dry and cracking and leaves the same, it sounds like a lack of water to the roots. DO NOT cut off any more roots. Just try watering the entire plant, specifically the roots, more frequently.

You can try growing these in a pot or a wooden basket.

If the roots won't fit into a pot or wooden basket. Mount it on a tree and water often. Since you live in Singapore, it should do really well like that, (much better than using those tiny plastic baskets that don't retain moisture well at all).
