Bug ID in Catt
 

I have attached a picture of this bug, it was one of the larger of many tiny bugs. It's pretty small, a little larger than a pin head. Saw many of them scattering across the lavarocks when i watered my catt.

Odd Bug
 

Not sure what it is, but I would not want it in my house. NEW WAY TO KILL BUGS - read this in the Terrarium Catagory - Great Idea.
Buy some dry ice, place the plant in a large covered container, place a small chunk of DI in a small container of water and leave it in the larger container with the plant until the container is filled with CO2. Remove the DI before it can drop the temps too low, but continue to 'pour' the CO2 in the top of the container until there is no room for air left. Close the lid and leave it overnight. This will safely smother the bugs and the plants reportedly get a huge boost from the pure CO2.
I am waiting to try it, but I have no pests right now - knock on wood. I DONT WANT any pests right now (please.gif), but in case I get some, I will be remembering this tip.

I have come to the conclusion that they are springtails feeding on the decaying roots after repotting to s/h. They like the high moisture levels. Would like to eradicate them so when the chids bloom i can bring them in without spreading the bugs.

Yes, looks like a springtail to me.
