NOID Oncidium

Picked up this nice NOID today, they have about 30 more which they are selling out cheap as the flowers are finishing so i might be heading back for more to put in the garden :)

Any idea what the name might be?

Maybe Odontocidium Catatante 'Kilauea Karma' ?

Woohoo! Got 7 more of these for $5 each because the flowers had ended, not bad given they were originally $30... I'm going to mass plant them in a long thin planter I have and hope they give me a good show next year :D I'm pretty sure I have that ID right too after doing some investigating with the nursery :)

Nice blooms greengarden! I have a similar NoID Onc. that I bought at Trader Joe's Market. Mine has a little more orange on the lip, more Candy Corn colored. Your idea of the strip planter is great - give us before, during and after photos!

Here is a pic of them all planted out. They have a bit more space than I would like but I have similiar plants in larger then recommended pots and they seem to do quite well anyway so I'll take my chances and with how fast they are growing it won't be long before they are filling it anyway :D

WOW and I mean WOW. That is one long planter. And they all look like they have great space to grow! How nice.
Can't wait for next year -

Cool planting idea. I hope they like their new home.
