Sticky's

Hello everyone!

I have a question for any members who knows this. What is a sticky? I saw a ton of these in the projects area.

Threads are made "sticky" by admin or mods - and will stay at the top of the forum thread listing. Non-sticky threads drop down if there are no recent posts.

In the projects area there are a lot, because each project has a sticky. Projects are run by someone on the board for members to sign up to and then take part in. Generally there are a couple a year.

In the projects area the past projects are all stickys as a lot of other threads in that area discuss the sign up and plant choice of the projects, so it's good to be able to easily find the actual projects when you want to give an update on how your plant is doing.

In other areas they are posts of special interest which moderators/admins have decided want to be kept at the top to make them more visible to members. Often members suggest which threads should be stickes.

EDITED BY ROSIEC. Myrle, I've moved your post here where it should get more people see it.
