Epidendrum Lake View Angel
This is a reed stem Epidendrum mericlone usually known as the "Patio Orchid". I got this from Kawamoto Orchids two years ago. It has large creamy salmon color cluster of long lasting flowers and the plant is easy to grow. This thrive well outdoors and are used for landscaping in warmer grow zones.

Gorgeous! Epidendrums grow like weeds around here in about 5 different colours, it is very tempting to sneak a bit of pollen on from one of the catts and see what I end up with, seen some beautiful catt/epi hybrids lately and they would make lovely garden plants around here.

Thank You, greengarden !!!!
aint it cool you can grow this orchid outdoors in your grow zone.... |
LOL, I think so although they are so common around here in peoples gardens that the orchids buffs tend to refer to them as 'those weedy reed stemmed 'things' ' :P It would be fun to make some interesting hybrids though and a good way to practice my flasking.

That is a really unique color, Bud! Beautifull! Mine is a dark reddish/purple and has been in bloom since last March (though it only has a few flowers now)... Get ready for a big plant!

Wow! I love that!
