Sophronitis pygmaea (now a Cattleya)
Sophronitis pygmaea, or at least I acquired it as such. Think it could be a very small clone of S. coccinea.
Though the flowers are great and 4 cm across. http://farm9.staticflickr.com/8204/8...a38f8c84_z.jpg http://farm9.staticflickr.com/8349/8...89f14961_z.jpg Accepted name Cattleya pygmaea... |
Beautiful and great growing Magnus. Congratulations. It does look like a small flowering coccinea.
I've been trying to find one of these for a while now. Cheers. Jim |

Very nice! This species is indeed very rare to find for sale...

Interesting ! At first glance it looks like a coccinea, but the lip is tubular, narrow and longer.
