NOID Vanda, denisoniana hybrid?
 

A vanda I bought over a year ago as a cutting at an orchid show, was in a pile that was labeled Vanda denisoniana x Ascocenda Malinee which I found online under the name Ascocenda Thongtong Classic. The picture, and pictures I have seen online led me to expect a bright yellow, with cream/white lip, but what I got was a very Halloweeny seasonal orange. I have had it outside all summer, it finally sent off a two blossom spike about a month ago, still in bloom today. I think I will move it indoors to vase culture, see if it does better for me. Leaf growth definitely looks like Vanda denisoniana, and the flowers show a strong resemblance, but it is definitely not the 3/4 vanda denisoniana hybrid I thought I was getting. A nice sweet pleasant scent. Small waxy flowers.

General overall form of the flower, I'd say yes, its a denisoniana hybrid. Unless you have hands the size of Godzilla, its a tiny flower.
I have no idea what the other parent/s would be tho. I'd be guessing purely. All the Thongtong classics that I know of, including mine ARE yellow of great intensity & a lot bigger than this one.
Whatever it is I want it, a real cracker.

I love the colour! It is maddening when you don't get what you expected, though.
