Hoya in S/H question
So I have a Hoya that's about to bloom. This is the very first time is has ever bloomed for me, as I just recently discovered that it needs more water than I had currently been giving. As such, I am wanting to move it to S/H, But I'm not sure if I should do it now or after it has bloomed. Your thoughts?

I think if its actively growing, it should be fine. That's only a guess from me though.

Not sure when, but I put cuttings in s/h and they are doing better than in soil.

Never tried it in S/H.
Mine used to bloom well when it was really pot bound and didn't really get enough water. It also needed good enough light. I re-potted a few years back and it's grown well but not flowered since. I also moved it to lower light at the same time, and I think it's the combination of the two things that has stopped it flowering. Interesting idea to keep it in S/H, I might have to take a cutting and give that a try. |
