How deep to pot this phal?

Need some helpful advice.

I have several aged NOID phals that I managed to save from the garbage pile. But what I have are small plants - one is only 7" across both leaves and the largest is only 10" across both leaves - with very long stems - one is almost 2" long from the top of the buried roots to the now bottom leaves.

Have no idea when these things last bloomed.

When I re-pot this thing, how deep do I put the stem into the media? Do I put the stem deeper into the media or leave it up in the air where it is now?

A picture would help but usually I pot to the bottom of the bottom leaf.

This is a link to the American Orchid Socket video on reimporting phals.

I agree completely. Nothing complicated about this.
