New member introduction
 

Hi everyone,
I wanted to introduce myself. My name is Kim and I live in Florida. My favorite type of orchid is the oncidium. I bought one from Home Depot and now have 8 orchids. I am so glad that I found this place because I do not want to make mistakes with my plants. Hope everyone is having a wonderful night and can't wait to share stories and info on these wonderful plants.

Thanks Bud. Is it appropriate to post pictures of noids to get an idea of the type of orchid it is?

you may post pictures of the flowering orchid and some of the members might guess what plant it is

I really like oncidiums, too. Mostly because they grow and bloom well for me. I just got three more this week...different intergenerics, and some more compact ones. I am afraid that is what this forum does for you, so WATCH OUT!... You see it and you hear how great it is and you think "I've just got to have one of those" and before you know it, well, things get a little out of control! LOL
