Curled leaves on phalaenopsis hybrid.
One leaf of my phal is twisted and curled down.
First time seeing this and I'm wondering if anyone knows what causes this. I hope it is not something I need to worry about. By the way, other than color streaks on flowers and dark sunken spots, anyone know how virused phals look? I read somewhere twisting leaves of phals are virused. Well, this phal is not something I would cry over if I lost it, but still curious. Dive in, people! :) By the way, the plant looks perfectly fine otherwise. No markings on the leaves, lots of good looking roots. just this one twisted leaf. |
Change in temp and humidity is my guess. Happens to me a lot living in a highland desert.

This plant came like this when I bought it. I didn't like how it was curled out and down, but the flowers were nice so I bought it anyway.
So your phals do this a lot? I guess it is not a big deal other than just an aesthetic defect. lol |
