Cirr. Lovely Elizabeth
This is a plant that I obtained from the late Wilbur Chang in August 2011. The plant was registered by H&R Nurseries. I believe the plant was named after Wilbur's wife Elizabeth. The sepals (synsepals) are six inches long. It is interesting to see the hairs extending out along the edges of the dorsal sepals and petals.

That is a lovely form of the hybrid. The leaves are happy and healthy with the correct shade of green. The textures are just yummy.
Oh...this plant is now classified as a Bulbophyllum, altho some still use the Cirrhopetalum(latin for fringed petals) old name.... |
