If the roots are still plump and white/green then yes it will survive. It needs warmth, bright but not hot light, and just enough moisture in the mix to keep it from desicating. Leave it alone and it will put out a new leaf. Don't water it. Just dribble some water on the media. Just a little. You want moisture not wet so it will rot. And give it time. The roots contain sugars (starches) and moisture for the plant. But it's reserves are low especially it's reserves of moisture because it lost a lot of it in the sun. But that is why it dropped it's leaves. To protect itself from losing any more moisture. So now it needs warmth (for chemical reactions to turn it's stores of food to leaf cells), enough moisture to keep the roots plump (which helps transport sugars to the cells), and light to keep what little green in the stem photosynthesizing. Here is an after picture (I thought I had the before picture but can't find it). This phal had one badly dried out leaf. No roots. Just a stem about 1.5 inches long. I put it in a gallon ziplock bag with some spagnum moss in the bottom. I kept the moss damp and hung the bag in full sunlight. This was in March I think. This is what it looks like now. Try it. But it needs bright but not hot light. Good luck.
