Hey Ya'll!
Just wanted to show my Cattleyas, and a few others! We're bracing for the coming heat... I'll have to be watering twice daily for the next few days! The Tolumnia and Lc. Sagarik Wax were grown and flowered by my best friend, Erica, about 50 miles South of Durham in the "sandhills" of North Carolina. This is such an INCREDIBLE place to live for orchid cultivation!!!!!!!!:biggrin::biggrin: They are: 1. Laelia purpurata var. carnea (first-time bloomer!) 2. Blc. Mahina Yahiro 'Mishima' (AMAZING scent!!!) 3. Lc. Sagarik Wax 'Silk Ball' (Erica's) 4. NOID Tolumnia (Erica's) 5. Encyclia cochleata (or whatever the genus is called now......?!) 6. Blc. Mem. Crispin Rosales 'Carmela' AM/AOS (one of my all-time favorites... the blooms are larger than ever!!!) I hope you guys enjoy them as much as I am!!!!!! PS- I'm hoping for an award for the Crispin Rosales at the next or orchid society meeting!!! |
They're all beautiful! I have a Crispin Rosales. That's a large, beautiful cattleya. Good growing.

Gorgeous, I especially like the Lc. Sagarik Wax 'Silk Ball', so elegant! I'm always a fan of cochleata as well.
