Two Classic Vandas in Bloom
 

I have two classics in bloom. Both plants are clones that are several years old. Both were displayed at the Aiea Orchid Show held June 8-10, 2012. V. Roberts Delight 'Garnet Beauty' shown below won the Best Vanda trophy at the Show. The plant has 8 flowers have a vertical natural spread of 5 inches.

V. Pat Delight 'Dark Blue' is also eye catching. The plant has 8 blue flowers with a vertical natural spread of 4-1/2 inches.

Sorry. I just realized that I have this in the wrong Vanda alliance. Hopefully one of the Board moderators will move this to the correct alliance.

You have beautiful flowers....large and flat true to its form...the colors are striking...you can see the veinings on the petals and textures that is inherent to its genus...they are also shimmering
