Phal pallens
I bought this plant at a show last fall, for only 3€. Still a small sized plant, though it came with a dormant spike. The tip finally woke up about a month ago, though sadly 2 of the 3 buds blasted. And there is now a fresh new spike on the way.
The plant is still a bit weak since it's getting over a mite infestation during the winter. http://inlinethumb17.webshots.com/49...600x600Q85.jpg |
Simply gorgeous! I love greenish color of the bloom and fuzzy lip.

Very nice Camille :D
These lil guys produce spikes like crazy, good growers too. |
Thanks for the compliments, I love it too. :)
Gloria, sounds like I have a nice show of blooms to look forward to in the future! We'll see how my plant does, it has not grown one iota since i bought it. No new leaves at all yet. Do you have one of these? |
Gorgeous Camille! Is this an alba form or is that the usual color for pallens?

That's a really really pretty flower!!

Only 3 Euros? They are hard to come by here, and way more expensive! That new leaf looks pretty healthy and the flower is very nice. That's going to be quite the show plant in a few seasons!

Yes I do Camille, got it last fall and it did nothing until late jan and hasn't stop since. Very productive little phal, lots of spikes, some old some new :)
Perhaps yours is just a young plant and it needs more time? Is it still settling into a new environment -- How long have you had it? Ezil, not that hard to find around here. I got mine from Patrick at Kingsfisher -$35 beanos' :) |
Beautiful flower. I love the lip texture and color
|
Lovely bloom Camille! Flower has very nice shape and coloring!
