Spots on Phal leaf

Today I noticed these little dark spots on my newest phal leaf. All the other leaves on the plant look completely fine. So I don't know what this is and what I should do about it. I suppose I could hit it with a systemic just for good measure? The spots are not raised or indented from what I can tell and do not show on the underside. Also do I need to quarantine this plant away from my others?

do you mist your orchids? looks like a spray pattern...did you use neem oil on it by any chance?

If you don't do the misting or neem oil I would isolate and keep an eye on it just to be safe.

What color are the flowers? If the plant has dark flowers and it has been under good light it might just be pigmentation of the leaf. It looks like it does have dark flowers because the outside of the leaf has a purple pigment. I know some of my red and purple flowered plants have a purple/spotting pigment of the leaves especially on the new growth and under bright light. If it was from misting or neem oil I would think the spots would look different than that. I think it is just natural pigmentation of the leaf from being in bright light.

I see that once in a while on the new leaves of dark flowered Phals. Once the leaf matures and hardens off it should fade away.

I agree with Wynn Dee and Camille, I think it's a normal pigment in the leaf. I wouldn't worry about it.

Thank you for all the replies. Yep, I don't mist this orchid or use neem oil. It does flower deep pink/purple (it's actually the one in my avatar, but when I uploaded the image it became bluer for some reason...anyways...). I hope you are all correct and it's just a natural pigmentation thing, that would be such a relief. I have been experimenting a bit with the light for this phal, so maybe that could be why none of it's past new leaves had this?
I shall try to keep an eye on it though.

Yes, pigmentation will be stronger in higer light. So I guess you should see it as the sign of a happy Phal! :)
