Phal Jelly Belly
 

Beginning to really appreciate corningiana backcrosses. First blooming of Jelly Belly (Lydia Tobia x corningiana). This has some great color, and I'm still hopeful for a scent. Best part is looking at the sections of the flower that just have the color turned off, while nearby "cells" have it turned on. Almost fully open, and I'll post size, but it'll be a 2" or so flower.

I really suspect that it should have a nice scent. Do report back.

How beautiful!! Nice color, and the mottling is great. I think someone else posted a Jelly Belly recently, but it was a solid dark red.
