Late-summer beauties!
 

My C. forbesii x Blc. Helen Brown is blooming like crazy!Attachment 5442 They have a very distinct smell, exactly like black pepper. It has four flowers, and another sheath about to open.
I picked up this beautiful Blc. Mem. Crispin Rosales 'Lu Kang' Attachment 5443for my grandmother, yesterday. She just had back surgery, so I figured this would lighten up her hospital room. These beautiful 7" flowers towered over all her others, and made them look like a nice background.
