Welcome to Orchid Board Eddie! If you love orchids you'll love it here! :) Everyone is so nice and helpful. I've repotted a few of my orchids into s/h a few months ago and I love it so far. Hopefully you'll have a good experience with it as well!

Hi Eddie...nice to have you join us

I've heard many success stories about slippers and S/H.
I have all of my paphs in aliflor and they seem to be doing well.

We'd love some :photo: and if you have any questions, feel free to ask :D

I grow about 150 phrags and almost that many paphs in S/H. They are all sizes and some have been in S/H for about 2 years. The phrags expecially love it. Some of the paphs take a little while to adjust to the different growing conditions.

Bonjour Eddie, Welcome to OB!!
I grow various orchids but my first love is paphs & phags, grown in sphag and peatmoss.
I have not tried the S/H route. And I'm not going to mess with success ;)

I hope you get a chance to post up some photo's!

:D

Welcome to the orchid Board. Glad you were able to join. Phrags are my favorite mystery orchid.

Re-potted 20 paphs into S/H 3 weeks ago and everything looking good. Armeniacum, Hirsutissimum and Maudiae Coloratum have already begun to spike---- is this a usual occurance? Would love to hear from anyone either through the forum or e-mail.
