Vacation seeding
 

OK ... So of course the worst or weirdest thing has happened...my Phal pod decided to open THE NIGHT BEFORE VACATION! No time for gel and jars and all the regular stuff soooooo.....I'm trying the "sow seeds on bark" thing. I repotted momma and took the medium and put it in one of these "indoor greehouse" trays...then sprinkled the seed all over it. We'll see what happens.
AND OH My God!!!I didnt realise how much seed is in one tiny little pod...it looks like i sprayed the medium with the vacuum bag.

Things always work out that way!!
There was no rush to sow though, dry seed can be kept a long time in the fridge.
Good luck with the sowed seed, though I expect you won't get much, if anything, from it.
