Cymbidium Hirokadzu Gauda

I love this plant, it blooms for me faithfully twice a year, now and in the summertime.

Thanks, I was amazed when it rebloomed in the summer when I first got it but it has done it every year since.

That is way too cool...I hope to train my Cyms to bloom twice a year too...as of now I only have one that bloomed for me...the others are just sulking

That's neat! I had no idea some cymbidiums can bloom twice. I love the gentle pinks in your blooms.

Wonderful color, and twice a year. Well done.

You do not "train" Cymbidiums to bloom twice a year. This is a genetic trait. The species used to create this warmth tolerant and warm growing hybrid for warm areas, as Tuvoc lives in, can give this blooming habit if all conditions are right.
