I borrowed this plant from my mentor to show to our local Brookside Gardens Orchid Club group tomorrow and just had to share a pix of it !!! The spur is 8" long !!! It's staying in my kitchen until Monday, could you tell ??

Wow, that is crazy cool. What kind of care does it like?
It's hanging in a bright corner of his g/h. He waters once a week, feeds every other week in the growing season. That's about all I know, it's not my plant.
The one that I just gave away last year had a very long nectary but you would not know it, it cork screwed like a pigs tail. Neat plant to grow if you have bright light.
He won an award on it but it's not listed on the tag. If you have O-Wiz check it out for me ? I'm guessing that I use all the SLANG words for plant parts, like spur, and spike instead of the proper nomenclature !!! What can I say, I was born in California, need I say more ???!?!?!?!!!

Nope, not him.

Then I don't know what to tell you. There are no other awards that come from your area of the country.
