This one decided to bloom early for me. I had bulbs in the garage for the winter chill and almost missed the bloom. Not even sure how it managed to do that without any light there. Other bulbs are taking their time. The flower isn't as big as it was last year, but I am not complaining

I love this flower. Do you happen to have a side view?

What a beauty!!!!
Blooming in dark garages makes me think that even I could give these a try.

I really have neglected my pleiones last year... they are easy to grow given they get a cold rest. I probably could have kept them outside all year round for my location but I didn't want local squirrels to dig them up; so they sat in the garage for the winter. You should give them a try :)

That's a native species here in Taiwan. I know that in our nearby mountainous areas, the wild plants still grow well there.
But it is a cool grower, we seldom grow them.
