Just saying howdy from Wyoming, just signed up today, will be looking around the site to get a fill. Long time orchid keeper here. Started back in the 80's, then got out for awhile. Restarted again back in 90's, then out for a time. And finally, in with a vengence again in 2007. I've had as many as 80 different plants at one time, but currently I'm at 53 with several duplicates from splitting.

Looking for some ideas to combine two of my favorite hobbies, aquariums and orchids. I actually followed a picture of someone's riparium to find this site.

I know there are members who have converted aquariums to terrariums - there is a dedicated forum for terrarium growing Terrarium Gardening - Orchid Board - Most Complete Orchid Forum on the web ! including a sticky thread of orchids that do well in terrariums.

A friendly group here, so please don't be shy about asking questions, or posting pix, etc!

Thank you both for the welcome. I've already spent some time scoping out the terrarium gardening section, but plan on spending lots more time there. Thanks for the tips. Also have a thread up with a few of my pictures. Thanks for looking.
