Cyclopogon longibracteatus

Its long floral bract compared to the flower identifies this Cyclopogon. Those bracts can clearly be seen on the pictures. This orchid is a terrestrial of my region, growing on the forest (where there is some forest left!!) floor covered by decaying vegetal mater. So, to keep it alive I used to pot it in that organic matter, but now I tried my regular mix and found that it goes very well in it too. It doesn't seem, but it is a hardy plant. It has thick, hairy roots that need plenty of room to grow, so the pot mustn’t be small. It has no pseudo bulbs, being basically a rosette of leaves with the flower stalk emerging from the center. The flowers are tiny, but are numerous on the stem and have an incredibly strong coconut perfume. When you enter the forest looking for it you know that it is somewhere around before seeing it, just because of that perfume.
